5. Part4

Part4はグラフのプレゼンテーションです。

出題されるグラフは，円グラフ・棒グラフ・折れ線グラフのどれかです。
棒グラフと折れ線の組み合わせで出ることもあります。

グラフの説明は，グラフの種類に合わせて，テンプレートを作っておきましょう。

私が作っていたそれぞれのテンプレートの例を紹介します。

円グラフ

基本的に図のように年の違う2個以上の円グラフが出題されます。

円グラフのテンプレはこんな感じです。
試験では，%の値や範囲(年など)のみを入れ替えて話してました。

Please take a look at these pie charts.

These graphs show "Popular animals as pets in Japan between 1990 and 2010".

The blue represents dogs, the red is cats, and the green is rabbits.

As you can see, dogs increase by 9% from 1990 to 2010.

On the contrary, cats decrease 7%.

And also, rabbits have no much change between 1990 and 2010.

棒グラフ or 折れ線グラフ

この図は，公式サイトの例題になっているものです。

棒グラフと折れ線は同じテンプレートを使用していました。

棒グラフ・折れ線グラフの説明には，副詞をうまく使いましょう。
例：gradually, sharply, slightly, dramatically

話すときに，副詞を強く読むようにしてください。

「売り上げが”めっちゃ”増えました。」みたいな感じです。

棒グラフのテンプレはこんな感じです。
試験では，主に対象の範囲だけを入れ替えて話してました。

Please take a look at this bar graph.

This diagram shows "the percentage of total complaints received during  Years 1 to 4".

As you can see, the amount of Delivery problems is moving upward from Years 1 to 4.

From Years 1 to 3, it gradually increases, and in Year 4, increases dramatically.

This is a big problem that we have to cope with.

But Faculty goods gradually decreases from Years 1 to 4.

And also, Stock availability remains flat from Years 1 to 3.
