How do you say oldie in Japanese?

Today's phrase is 懐メロ(Natsu-mero)

Let's learn Japanese!!

Oldie is called 懐メロ(Natsu-mero) in Japanese.

Natsu stands for Natsukashii.

As you know, mero is based on melody.

When we talk about oldies songs, we usually use 懐メロ.

Example

お気に入りの懐メロは何ですか?
What are some of your favorite oldies?

最近は懐メロを聞いています。
I've listen to oldies lately.
