How do you say “get lost” in Japanese?

投稿日:

Hi, there!! I'm namihei from Japan.
I have posted the article in English and Japanese. I started to write English article because I want many people to know about Japan.

Please take a look at my detailed profile.

At this time, it's No.5 in the "How do you say this in Japanese?" series.
Today, I will share how to say "get lost" in Japanese.

I hope this article helps you.
Let's get started!!

First of all, get lost are usually used in two scenes.

1. I got lost the way.

2. Get lost!

In the case of " I got lost the way", got lost can be said to be "迷(まよ)った" in Japanese.

While, "Get lost!" can be said to be "失(う)せろ or 出(で)ていけ" in Japanese.

So, let's take a look at how to use it!

ホテルに帰(かえ)る途中(とちゅう)で道(みち)に迷(まよ)った。

I got lost on my way back to the hotel.

マキ,出ていってくれない?おれはマキのたわごとを聞くのにうんざりしてるよ。

Get lost, will you, Maki? I'm tired of listening to your nonsense.

How about this article?

I hope it helped you to learn Japanese.

Thanks and see you later!
